What is a Trusted Domain?

The more important question is, “what isn’t a trusted domain?”

• A site that obviously sells links for the purpose of search engine rankings (Google doesn’t like this)
• A site that links to a lot of “PPC” sites (porn, pills and casinos – industries well-known for using black hat techniques) – unless, of course, your website is in one of these industries
• Sites that distribute malware or try to scam visitors in obvious and/or egregious ways
• Sites that aren’t indexed, but once were (in other words, sites that have been penalized by the search engines)
